The design methodology across various design disciplines can be surprisingly similar. The interaction between different parts and functions of a city thus their logical geographical planning can sometimes strongly resemble the principle that governs the spatial layout of a cafe or an office; they way a piece of jellery or graphics using subtle visual hint to lead the movement of an eye is also applicable to the UX development and branding for an enterprise. By participating at design of different scale, these methodologies interact and inform each other and become a fully holistic approach.
